The Rajshahi University Law Alumni Association (RULAA) is a non-political, professional and social organization of graduates from the Law Department of the University of Rajshahi. It was established to bring alumni together, strengthen professional and personal bonds, and uphold the values of justice, ethics, and service to society.
RULAA connects law graduates serving in the judiciary, legal profession, academia, government, corporate sector, and other fields at home and abroad. Through reunions, mentorship initiatives, professional programs, and welfare activities, RULAA fosters unity, cooperation, and continuous learning among its members.
Our Journey
The foundation of RULAA was laid in the early 1990s when alumni of the Rajshahi University Law Department felt the need for a unified platform for professional and social bonding. The journey that began with a vision has now transformed into a powerful network of legal professionals.
Initiative began under the leadership of Hon'ble Justice A.K.M. Asaduzzaman, the Founder Convener, with important contributions from Hon'ble Justice Syed Muhammad Dastagir Husain.
RULAA was formally established, creating a forum for Rajshahi University law graduates to stay connected and support one another.
RULAA stands as a respected association, with members serving as judges, senior advocates, academics, government law officers, and corporate leaders.

Membership Criteria
According to the RULAA constitution, all graduates from the Rajshahi University Faculty of Law—including the Department of Law and the Department of Law and Land Administration—are eligible for membership. Registration is mandatory to become a member.
